Privacy policy

This site is deliberately built to collect as little as possible. There is no analytics script, no tracking cookie set by us, and no account system.

What we collect

Nothing about readers, by default. This site serves static pages. It does not set cookies of its own, does not run analytics or advertising scripts, and does not create reader accounts. There is no profile of you to disclose or sell.

What our host records

Like any website, the hosting platform records standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent and the page requested, for the purpose of serving the site and protecting it from abuse. That is a normal function of web hosting and is not used by us to identify individuals.

If you email us

When you write to us, we hold your email address and the contents of your message for as long as needed to deal with it. We use it only to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share it.

The contact form on this site composes an email in your own mail application. Nothing you type into that form reaches us until you send the email yourself.

Affiliate links and third parties

When you follow a link to a software vendor, you leave this site and the vendor’s own privacy policy applies. Vendor affiliate programmes typically set a cookie so that a later purchase is attributed to the referring site. Those cookies are set by the vendor or their affiliate network, not by us, and we cannot read them.

If you prefer not to be tracked in that way, block third-party cookies or open vendor links in a private window. The software prices you see will be unaffected.

Your rights

If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to hello@agencysoftwarereport.com and we will remove it. Because we hold no reader data beyond that, there is nothing else to request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, for example if display advertising is added later, the change will be published on this page with a new verification date.

In one line

We set no cookies, run no analytics, and hold no personal data about readers.
