What this site is for

Small agencies make software decisions with less information than large firms and less time than they would like. Vendor pricing pages are written to obscure the total cost, free tiers are described more generously than they perform, and most review sites are paid to recommend everything.

Agency Software Report exists to fix the first two problems and avoid the third. We read the primary sources carefully, we do the seat arithmetic, and we publish the conclusion even when it is that you should not buy anything.

Who writes it

Zunair Ali Syed is a doctoral researcher in Management Sciences at Minhaj University Lahore. He edits Agency Software Report, which covers the operational software small professional-services firms run on.

How we are funded

This site is free to read and earns money in one way: when a reader follows a link to a software vendor and buys a subscription, we may receive a commission. The price you pay is not affected.

That model creates an obvious incentive, so we constrain it deliberately:

• We publish pages that conclude you should not buy the product. Those pages earn nothing.
• We do not accept payment for a recommendation, a ranking position, or the removal of criticism.
• Every monetised page carries a visible disclosure above the content.

No software vendor has editorial input into this site. We do not send drafts to vendors for approval, we do not remove accurate criticism on request, and we do not accept sponsored placements.
